They're on the lookout for a full time Head of Product to lead and work with a team of production lords to innovate and create excellence in the production department and they're determined to make this the best job you'll ever have.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Driving the entire production procedure of the brand from planning to development to delivery

  • Managing the production team (2), setting processes, goals and timelines and ensuring they’re met

  • Forecasting to predict growth and meet customer demand for maximum stock turn

  • Increase efficiency throughout the development and production process

  • Creating structure, recruiting and monitoring performance within the team  

  • Working closely with other departments to:

    • Finalise and workshop future projects/products

    • Communicate information regarding upcoming products and launches

    • Deliver and meet deadlines

    • Finalise claims of faulty goods

  • Analysing insights, historical data, trends and markets to ensure strategies are current, relevant and ahead of the game.

  • Implementing and project managing:

    • the critical path to ensure on-time product delivery

    • the company’s quality control procedures

    • processes for all in-house style developments, fabric and sample libraries

    • garment fit sessions

  • Working with the CFO to create and implement costing structures and budgets

  • Managing profit margins and effectively negotiating with suppliers

  • Providing regular and comprehensive reporting to the CEO and CFO

  • Driving innovation and improving our ethical and social standards

  • Developing and managing the production sub brands

  • Supplier Management:

    • Managing the supply chain

    • Creating supplier production manuals and improve supplier performance

    • Establish and maintain relationships while sourcing and expanding the supplier base

    • Ensuring compliance of all ethical and environmental requirements and regulations

    • Ensure labelling and other product regulations are communicated and adhered to

 

About you:

 

  • 5+ years experience in a similar role within a high growth fashion brand.

  • Bringing your experience, skills and knowledge to take our production team to the next level.

  • Proven experience of effective critical path and profit margin management.

  • A solid understanding of garment construction, development and manufacturing process including key check points during and post manufacture.

  • Knowledge of current ethical and environmental manufacturing standards and certifications.

  • You’re commercially minded and take ownership of your role to drive results.

  • First-class communication skills.

  • Highly organised and detail orientated and can operate with autonomy.

  • A love of data to optimise and influence decisions.

  • Be open to implementing new systems, responsibilities and policies on the fly.

  • Being exceptionally resourceful. If you don’t have the answer, you’ll find it.

  • A positive attitude, an energetic presence and a good sense of humour.

  • Taking on tasks outside your role as required.

  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud; particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.

  • Experience using Shopify, Google Suite, Dropbox and Monday.com is a bonus.
